06-25-2025 15:21

Naoufal Souitat of the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, and Christina Collura of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland, inspect the IMAP-Lo instrument before installation onto the Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP). Note: The red tag cover ring protects the sensor's collimator, keeping it clean until launch. Red tag covers are removed right before the spacecraft is integrated into the launch vehicle.
