Team Member Works on the Spacecraft Harness for the IMAP Spacecraft

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory mechanical engineer, Kyle Norman, works on the spacecraft harness for the Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP). The harness is the extensive electrical system that provides power to all of the spacecraft’s components, which on IMAP includes 10 science instruments. Behind Norman in several of the photos is the computer-aided design (CAD) drawing of the harness system.
