The FTPP International Space Weather Camp (ISWC) is a collaborative summer program that brings together 16 undergraduate and graduate students from the United States and Germany to explore space weather through research, hands-on activities, and cultural exchange. FTPP / CSPAR hosts the U.S. portion of ISWC at the University of Alabama in Huntsville!
This year, during the camp, the students participated in one of our favorite IMAP activities, IMAP Charades! As part of this interactive activity, students worked together to act out and identify key heliophysics and space weather concepts featured in the IMAP mission. The game encouraged teamwork while reinforcing scientific vocabulary and helping participants build a deeper understanding of the processes that shape our space environment. Bringing together students from multiple countries, the activity sparked conversation, collaboration, and a shared excitement for space science.
